Polo GTI-Efficient on Fuel??

Hello there,

I'm a newbie here, looking for a bit of advice....

I've been a driving a 1.4 Polo for 10 years and am now considering buying a 2007 Polo GTI. Had a test drive and absolutely love it, my only concern is if it's going to a petrol guzzler?? I'm generally concerned about Co2 emissions too, and wondering whether the world would be better off if I waited till the summer and got one of the new 'more fuel efficient' Polo Bluenote?!!

The car will be mostly used for city driving.

New member here myself and just noticed your post...

I'd say it's not too bad on fuel! If you've been driving a 1.4 for 10 years then you'll defo notice the difference but if you don't thrash it around like a mad-man then it's not too bad!
