Big Problems!!!!

HI EVERYBODY,having bad time with my 2001 vw transporter of late!!,could any one tell me how the stub shaft gets held in place after gearbox is the shaft bonded to the rubber on the bearing mounting?its my work van so no work no pay!! please help!!!

Can't follow what you need to know. Outer end of driveshaft is splined into hub. No rubber. Large bolt thru centre locks this and tensions wheel bearing.
