How low can you go?!

Hi, just bought an 98 A4 tdi quattro avant and it has ebach springs and rs4 rims on it, problem is it looks like a range rover.... Handles very well though.

Being an ex golf 2 driver, I like it low, so can some of you tell me how low I can go? Also, whats the lowest springs you can buy and from where?

Would like coilovers but they're £600 and I just dont have that at the moment.

Fit a full kit, not just springs but don't lower it more than 40-mm or it will ruin the ride and make the car very unpleasant. It is one thing bouncing around in a lowered Golf 2 (I have one lowered 40-mm on a Weitec fixed drop kit and another lowered 60-mm on Weitec coilovers). I am starting to use Vogtland.
