Central Locking Problem

Hi There
I have a 2003 (53 Plate) 1.9Tdi Passat. The central lockimng has just started to play up. Both front doors and rear nearside door lock and unlock perfectly on the keyfob buttons, howeevr the offside rear door knob stays locked and will not unlock at all. I have tried to open the door from the inside a force the lock knob up, but without success.

try taking the earth lead off the battery ,press the brake a few times and reconnect after 5 minutes , try the remote then . :beerchug:
