t4 immobiliser

i have just imported a 1996 2.5 petrol multivan from japan it drove onto the ship but i think somebody tried to jump it to get off now it just starts and stops have been told it is the immobiliser can it be bypassed or is it a main dealer fix

Hi It can not be bypassed,if you have more than the one key,try another key

only came with one key looks like golf mk3 system on gti 2ltr have been told they can be done but info could be wrong ?
