head gasket or condensation?

*new account cos i cant remember my old one*

since an oil change there is a milky substance built up on the oil cap. its not overheating or losing water and the build up is not like the mayo type stuff i've associated with a head gasket in the past

im yet to get it pressure tested and avoided using the car until i can. any enlightenment? its a passat 1.9 pd tdi

It'll be a by product of your recent oil change, clean that bit off there with a lint free rag and keep a close eye on it if the car IS driving alright

i've used the car a couple of times since posting and still no loss of water, or even traces of oil and the the temperature doesnt go above 90 (recently replaced the coolant temp sensor too)

i'll post any change, thanks again
