engine oil level

hi,
does anyone know why every 3-4 weeks i have my engine oil level low light come on and i need to keep topping up?is this a problem and if so how big:zx11:

I've had this with mine. Not been that bad recently though, no apparent leaks that i can see, and seems to fine at the mo! hmmmm?

I've read somewhere that the 2.0l use alot of oil.
