Clicking Noise When Starting A4

When first starting my 2004 A4, I hear a ticking noise comming from the engine compartment that lasts for only a few seconds. Is this normal, or do I have a problem? Can anyone give me some info?

Just experienced this, it is your Cam Tensioner begining to fail. The ticking noise right now will only happen at first start but will eventually start to occur after complete warm up as well and get louder and worse. Cam Tensioner is expensive but the part can be bought for half the normal $650 at ecstuning.com.
