Black Nose?

I've seen photos of an Eos with an 'unchromed' nose, ie the grille all black like an Audi. I think it looks great, and wonder can anybody please tell me if it is a factory option, or a custom job?

Haven't seen this one; where did you see such a picture?

It's not an option on the German market (which is where the horizontal chrome bars on the grille came from - they're an option when choosing 'Individual' i.e. some pricey ways to personalise your Eos!)

Maybe someone got a black spray-can out?!

I believe the polychromatic green(!) with tan leather may belong to a design guy from Eos. One of the cars, if you can be bothered to trawl through, intriguingly has 4motion on the back. Now after being told it was a non-starter, I'd be a bit miffed. Thanks for your help, and I still think the black nose is good!

Hi, there is an article in Auto Express (issue 934 Nov 1-7) showing a Passat with a Black Nose and Black VW logo.
I prefer chrome.

Yes, saw that but it's a spyshot and would be surprised if they market it like that. Bit too 1990s!
