Locks - Will the comedy ever end?

Before Christmas, my spare key was stolen from the dealer's premises. Ok, that's not a problem as they're replacing the locks.

Fast forward 5 weeks and it's now been done, but ONLY because I chased them up about it.

Anyway, they did the locks and then tried to charge me - :zx11:

I thought I'd checked the locks before I left the dealer, but no - not properly - the boot release and fuel flap release don't work properly. Neither does the boot badge or boot open button on the key...

What does happen though is when I press the boot release inside - well, nothing.

When I press the boot badge.... The fuel flap opens....

When I press the fuel flap button inside.... The boot opens....

I am NOT amused! Well, I am a little bit :)

Ah well, I think I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow....

:p:p Sorry I too had to laugh, and glad you can. I remember years ago a colleague buying a brand new Lada Riva. The indicator stalk when switched to left worked the right indicator and visa versa. We laughed until we could not breathe, your problems reminded me.

That is not good though.
