Concert "Telefon"

Hi.. im really hoping someone can help!

I have a 2000 A4 Avant with a concert tape/radio player linked up to a multichanger in the boot. When i bought the car, there was an ancient Nokia car kit in which I just left as it was. At christmas I treated myself to a bluetooth earpiece but now the stereo display keeps coming up with "telefon" on the screen with no music and nothing else working.

Since this has happened, something is draining my battery with me having a flat pretty much every day. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the heck i can do to sort this out?

You're going to have to pull the radio and remove the butchered wiring for the phone. It should be easy to spot the original wiring with neat crimps and bound in the foam tube harness - and single wires to individual pins for phone muting. I'm sorry I don't have my wiring diagrams handy to give the pin locations for muting.

The tel mute pin is on the black 8 way connector pin 2.
check and or remove any other wires to the phone kit.
