power steering loss when wet

my 80 has developed a problem, when i go through puddles or if it has been sitting still in the pouring rain, the power steering stops working. i have no idea what the problem may be.the belt looks fine, and i have no idea where else to check. ideas ? :confused:

Hi, replace with genuine brand new belt as your one is actually slipping and its dangerous !!!

You may need to re-tension the belt. Check the mounting bolts
on the power steering pump - they may have come loose.
