My dads lease on his current motor which he has had from new has run out, he has now ordered his new motor.

He has the oportunity to buy it off the lease company for a small £6800. Its a bargain.

2005 (54 Plate)
VW Passat 1.9 TDI highline (PD130) Estate

Full VW Service History and Cam Belt just been done.

Ive just bought a house so these savings would be great over mine.
Cheaper Insurance
Its a Diesel

Other thing is I cant afford anymore towards a car, so do you think getting £6800 for mine would be tough.http://www.briskoda.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yes, I think it would be tough to get that much. The top of the range L&K 2004 I see for less than that at the right place. But I also think the Passat would be a better car, though I prefer the transverse engine and suspension, more efficient, direct & less 'wandery' than the passat. 130 pd chips to 180 no probs and feels VERY swift.

Greg.

Made the decision to keep mine and leave the Passat.

A great motor though.
