I watched a comparative assessment last night on the car programme of the German TV channel Sat 1 of a new A4 v a BMW 318 (with a 2 litre engine) v a new Renault Laguna.

The Audi came 1st, the Laguna 2nd and the BMW 3rd.

I think I'm going to have trouble getting a discount on my next A4!
