Following my post earlier, I now have the starter motor out to replace, hopefully with a used one. This one is a Bosch, part number 068 911 024 C (1997(R) A4 Avant Tdi AFN)
Does the replacement have to have the exact same number, or are there a 'series' of numbers that would fit?
