Hi - just new to the forum and need to pick your brains!( I don't have any of my own!)

I have a diesel LT35 1995- haven't used it since before christmas due to leaking sump- tried to start it today and nothing happened

Battery is charged- lights, radio, fan etc all work fine

On turning the ignition key there are no warning lights lit on the dashboard for a few seconds- then a weird crackiling noise from under the dash somewhere- and the battery/oil light heater plug light etc eventually come on- but when you go to start all go out and nothing at all happens- not even a click-

it was all working fine 3/4 weeks ago- any ideas would be appreciated
thanks in advance

regards

Mike

Loose connection on one of the busbar feeds on fusebox or faulty ignition switch feed or switchline at ignition switch maybe?

Hi- thanks- tried all of the connections relays fuses etc- finally managed to suss it- the brand new battery was duff- when fully charged it was only kicking out 11 volts- so afetr a heated argument with the spares shop who said"it could never happen"- i have a replacement battery and everything is fine
Thanks for taking the time to resopond
regards
Mike
