A4 Tailgate

My A4 estate tailgate will not shut properly. It appears that the "roller hook" is worn and won't engage with the lock bar/staple on the load bay floor. Any advice appreciated.

What model do you have?

On my 04 model I've been having trouble with the tailgate not closing if you slam it shut, its seems to bounce. I've lube'd the latch and this seems to help, going to adjust the rubber stoppers next.

You may just need to adjust the loop to compensate for wear or a loose bolt may be someone nudged the bumper.
