hi guys toyin with going from mt passat 1.9tdi to an a4 advant wanted something quicker and bigger and i like the advants.
my mate has a 1,8T ibiza cupra do they use same engine? think he said 150bhp standard now withremap claims close to 200bhp?
is this as easyily achivable from the a4 and can a dump valve be fitted my mate said would need to be a re-circulating one? cheers guys

The Quattro's are 180hp. The 180's will got to 220hp and the 150's can be pushed to 200 fairly easily,

You also have the 163hp and 190hp versions too. All should gain atleast 40hp.

A standard 2004 A4 1.8T S-LINE 2wd makes 190BHP as standard, coupled with a six speed manual box. Not sure what a chip will take it to but i would guestimate approx 225BHP.

You can put a DV/BOV in but you will want the ones the re-circ some of the air to keep the engine happy.
