Hi, i am a newbie to the VAG group. I bought a VW Golf GT TDI 115 last week, 127k mileage, FSH, decent cond. Now i decided to have the cambelt changed as it hasn't been done. So the mechanic changed the cambelt, tensionors, water pump, pads, and the temp sensor, thermostat as it wasn't heating up that great. Now yday suddenley i lost all power in the car, barely reached 25mph! Took back to mechanic, he checked over all turbo hosing to check that its not leaking and did the diagnostic on it and realised the MAF sensor needed replacing. Yesterday evening it was moving really well better than before, but today i felt like iv lost the kick the turbo gave b4 i had the cambelt change. Is this usual? or what could it be? I can't think it could be the turbo hosing as the mechanic gave it a once over. any help or ideas and costs would be great. Thanks in advance.
