Hi,

I hope someone can shed some light on my airbag issue. The Audi dealer says the ECU thinks an airbag has gone off - none have and it has not been in a bump recently. It will be £500 to replace the ECU and Audi UK will not contribute good will even though the car is 5 yrs old, FSH and 37000 mls. That seems like poor reliability and aftercare.

Any suggests?

Cheers!

Can't you just get the warning lamp turned off, or does it re-illuminate?

Hi - I have just had the same sorted on my daughters Golf Cabrio, I used an independant company called Airbag Solutions who were recommended to me. They were very helpful and explained what to do and how to do it. Cost £140 for the original ECU to be reset - works lovely now.
