Hi i have a 96 1.4l polo and it started squeeking a couple weeks ago- the noise is coming from the front right wheel and stops if i apply the brakes. It sometimes stops when i turn- but mostly it doesnt stop. The squeek comes and goes a bit so i thought it could be the wet cold weather.
Also after looking at some websites i have decided i have have had a constant growl coming from the wheel area for quite some time- but i cant find any websites today that say what it is.
I am guessing it is the wheel bearing for both of these problems. but i really dont know too much about this.
While i am here i am getting a buzz from the top of my window at certain speeds. any clues?
And the clutch makes a bit more noise than i would like it too- anything i can do to help it last?
