Mk2 golf ISV location??

hi, wondering if anyone can let me know where the Idle stabilizing valve is located on my Mk2 golf 1.3? hoping that cleaning it out might sort my erratic idling and cutting out!

They don't have one, it is called a carburettor, a Pierburg 2E3 to be precise and they are very troublesome as they age. You need to have it set up buy by someone who knows them and they are few and far between these days.
