I have a 1996 Audi A4 2.6 V6 that keeps cutting out I've changed various things and I'm starting to get fed up with it.
Can anyone talk me through how to input the basic settings using vag com version 4.
Cheers :beerchug:

Still no luck with it here are the fault codes it's showing now, any ideas what the problem could be?
I've already changed the engine speed sensor and crank sensor.

They are individually wired to the ECU. You need to check the components wiring from their connectors to the ECU using a multimeter.

Would one of these be sufficient http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_16 1428_langId_-1_categoryId_76869

Yes, that would be fine, all you really need is the continuity tester and a voltage tester. PM me your email address and the cars reg number (again I think) and I will email over the wiring diagram and we can work though the pin numbers.

I can barely access this page and my PM folder not at all, it just will not respond. I think there is something wrong with the forum.
