SHOULD THE ACTUATOR ROD MOVE UP AND DOWN EASLY OR DOES IT TAKE A GOOD SHOVE.:confused:

It should only be operated with a vacuum pump or (on PD engines) by using a diagnostic system. It has a very powerful spring inside so is quite difficult to move by hand.
