A3 Parcel shelf

Hi does anyone know if a parcel shelf from a 5door (Sportback), 2006 A3 would fit the same age 3 door model?

Have just bought a 55 plate 1.6 Sport but the hinge-pin on the parcel shelf has snapped off. There is a bargain one on eBay but it's from a 5 door. Wanted to check before i placed a bid.

my 04 model has both pins missing and i too was considering buying a replacement from e-bay...shame we cant find out if hinge pins could be bought seperately
then we wouldnt have to go through this type of headache

Luckily the garage we bought it from managed to fix the snapped one.....may not last forever but at least it's better then shelling out over £200 for a new one!

when i get mine replaced my idea is to drill two small holes through the bracket into the shelf and fix tiny black bolts through for for peace of mind .
i believe this is s common fault due to the glue used.
