s3 recaros into mk2

hi guys

Ihave just bought a set of untidy recaros with the intention of fitting them into my MK2 golf. Has anyone done or know someone that has done this swap or the MK4 recs into a mk2. I could do with whatever help you can offer.

If it works you could be a lifesaver. I've not looked at the S3 Recaros for a while, but from memory the rail system looks quite different to that of the Mk4 in the pix. Hopefully I'm wrong and it'll work spot on. If I am right maybe I'll be able to apply the same priciples.

I'm always happy to help where I can :D The basic thing to remember is that your going to need to grind the seats, because there isn't space to move the rails.
