Remap / (fish and) chips?

Hello all.

I'm upgrading from a 1.9 TDi 105 to GT TDi 170 very soon, I was after some advice with getting some more power from the engine.

Will it do any long term damage to the engine / transmission?

There seem to be loads of different companies (tunit, superchips etc), which one's best?

As you can see I'm pretty clueless with this sort of thing!!

A remap will take it to about 210bhp.

You should of course let your insurance company know. So there is that cost to factor in.
