New to the forums

Good evening all.

Just a quick introduction as I have just registered with the forums.

I am considering buying an A8 Quattro 4.2 (As per my first post in the A8 section) And I am looking for as much info as possible on the Audi brand.

Any info will be very gratefully received.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll give the car a good once over when I look at it this Saturday, apparently it's got a full VAG service history, new engine and cats (all VAG) 128000 miles on a 1999 plate.

The only thing I'm concerned about is economy (I've got a 4 litre BMW 7 series so I know the value of petrol!!!) I'm told though
that the 4.2 Quatrro is a lot better on fuel, as it's much lighter (Average 24mpg for the Quatrro, the Beemer only manages about 18ish) although after saying that I don't do that much mileage so it's relative.
