1.9 diesel polo - how long will it last?

I have recently bought a 1.9 diesel polo 1997. It seems a good solid car (if a little noisey) and has been looked after. Does anyone have any idea of the sort of mileage these things are capable of with the correct treatment. It has done 133,000 so far and I would expect a lot more. Should have asked this prior to purchase but there you go.

So long as you maintain it, it should see you to and beyond 250,000miles without to much bother!!!

Just look after it and service it regularly and it wont let you down!
