after getting the bus remapped and loveing the extra power 2 months down the road clutch pedal is at very top when setting off and under full load has started to slip . car is a 1.8 20v turbo alhambra 2001 model is it fitted with the rubbish dual mass flywheel or the standard solid more reliable one .any ideas wot to put in ie lighter or performance any help much appreciated thx.:biglaugh:

Sorry bud, there is a DMF on there, and theres no real option apart from replace like for like.
I have to disagree with your comments re the DMF tho... theyre there for a reason, to dampen torional vibration. Without it, your drivetrain would be slowly shaken to bits. VM's are fitting more and more of these too now - 50% of cars produced in europe have one now! The problem is that the clutch and flywheel are designed for a specific use, torque, engine, drivetrain. Its a very exact science, with over 400 different DMF models tuned specifically to each engine/drivetrain combination. Mess around with the mapping and it wont always cope with it unfortunately....
