Stereo Question

I want to change my stereo in the A4, I was advised the other day to get an alpine, however I think the post was deleted. Can anyone recommed a model that would be comatable with the car and would allow the dash display to operate also. Eg track name ,station name etc

I have contacted a local company who have advised that every stereo they have fitted to an A4 has disable the onboard dash display, I think this is a load of BS, Please give me your feed back ?

Eclipse audio recommeded a model of stereo, Can you please repeat this info coz is have lost it , Thanks guys n galls.

I must be blind , I have found the info, However any more info you have would be great.

Have you changed your stereo ? Does your stereo dash display work ?

Another unit won't disable the DIS, however unless the replcement unit has a output that will work with the display, you won't get any Radio/CD related information shown.
