Hi, I own an Audi A4 1.6se (1998). Since owning the car i appear to have an oil leak coming from the breather hose that connect to the rocker cover.
This hose is held in place by a circlip that slips through the rocker cover holding this in place. I also believe that there should be some type of rubber washer that goes over the breather hose and slips inside the rocker cover to hold / seal this tight.
My breather hose has no rubber on the end so its just plastic to metal and slides back and forth. As no rubber washer is in place it lets out oil.
Can anyone confirm that there should be a rubber washer and if so can i have that part number. I phoned Audi and they were not helpful at all and couldnt even find the hose on their screen. Pretty hopeless if you as me!! :aargh4:
