Hi there

recently moved from BMW M3 CSL to Audi RS4 hence the name. Got a couple of questions with rs4 front suspension / steering. There's something creeking and groaning in engine bay when i turn steering at low speed. Guess it could be happening at higher speeds just can't hear it, also knocking from both front suspension if i catch a bump in the road wrong. Car's been in to Aberdeen Audi but they say can't find anything. Any ideas?

This is know about, some people have had parts replaced, my car does this sometimes ... almost like being on ice and the wheels are slipping ..I am not that bothered about this.

I would say ARB bushes are worn. Plenty of info on here.

Welcome to the forum.

Sound like a ball joint issue if you ask me (without looking)...

Sounds like something is running dry or a set of bushes have failed..

This can happen on any car.. any age,...

Guys, this may well be the known and serious DRC problem on RS4s.

See my thread on rs246.com

Don't leave it - it damages the suspension...

And neither is it 'supposed to be like that'
