100% can only be used in the summer unless you have a fuel heater fitted some but not all audi fuel pumps can cope if the fuel is warm so it is prudent to use 75% summer and 60%bio in winter i have been using this mixture for 18 months with good results in my 1997 1.9 tdi a6 i know i am light on the right foot and get 47 to 52 to a gallon then around town i only get 44 to 46 the one thing you will notice at once is how quiet the engine becomes

thanks for the info, do you make your own biodeisel? and im assuming you are changing the filter regularly, how many miles, i thought with bio you did not need heater but i have seen a new induction heater that seems the best for the job. I am looking at the 1.9 too, some have said the 2.5 v6 is not good for bio but i am v open to info. thanks

Do not have room to make my own but i do have a supplier half a mile away
change your filter after 1000 miles this is important as the bio will drag all the crud out of your tank then again after 6 months then back to normal
dont know about v6 but i have had a 2.5 and a 1.9 both run well on bio
i dont have a heater so i run on 75% i have run on 100% in the summer but tend to stick to 75%
