A4 Audi Keeps Cutting Out.Help Please

A 98 Model Audi A4 I have keeps cutting out when started... What could it be ?

Usually the ECU relay but first of all a fault code read to eliminate engine speed sensor or other problems.

Car is fine know.... fault code read the idle valve throttle..... cleared and it drives even better....
