Low oil warning came on yesterday for the 1st time. Now I had a look at the dipstick which after difficult examination confirmed the yellow light warning.
I noted on the rocker cover that my car had a 506.01 longlife servicing sticker.
Had a look at service manual and noted techie comment "Changed to Time & Distance Regime" at Service prior to my collection in August.
Decided to have a look at the manual, If on longlife or you have a DPF use 506.01 or 507.00. Now I know that UK 140's don't have DPF so it states 505.01 or 507.00. Fortunately had 2/3 litre of 505.01 Millers XFE/PD that I used in my 115 Alhambra. Why pay more for 507.00 when 505.01 meets the spec?
