coolant loss

hi all,
my 53 plate T5 Kombi van 2.5tdi lost all coolant ,took to garage,surmised as cylinder head gasket blown,fitted new,put all back together and still leaks coolant.talked about sending head away for skimming but nobody will touch it due to taking out glowplugs /injectors i think, cost of breaking them on removal?. garage owner did say there is a problem with T5 engine that vag know about, mileage is only 38k and my own vechicle so not thrashed. been 4 weeks at garage now so am not happy bunny.:mad:

any help would be grateful

Faulty water pumps are common on this engine, and can leak coolant into the engine rather than externally although it would be evident by an increase in the oil level and emulsified. Good luck- thankfully my T5 is only a distant memory now...

have told garage yesterday,their mechanic came to same conclusion,probably used web to find help like me.

does anyone know where water pump is located on 53 plate 2.5tdi ,

vw will not tell us ,quoting i might sue them if its not the pump and they told me where it is.
