GPS location

Currently using my TomTom in my EOS but having the powercord trailing up to the windscreen is a pain and so was considering getting a console sat nav but wondered where the antenna for the GPS is supposed to go to?

Thanks for the quick reply, which thread did you mean? The one I originally saw was http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=21273 but the Eos doesnt have the mesh cover you have in photo 2 and where you have the antena coming out from.

Much more searching on the net says that it is located in the boot lid (surprised me) but it was a USA site (cant see it being different though).

They suggested that it is present even if sat nav isnt fitted but no one had varified it... hasnt stopped raining/ snowing here since I found out and dont really want to start taking the car a part in the rain..... does anyone know?
