glow plug light

hi guys been on here b4 about this took the car to garage but doesnt bring up any error codes when i drive for at least an hour the glow plug light flashes on and off for the renainder of the journey any ideas any1 please

That should generate a fault code but I have had cars do this if the ignition is turned off. You need to get it in for a code read whilst the light is flashing and make it clear to the mechanic not to turn it off before reading for codes, it is still odd though.

cheers for that m8 but its the old case of wen i go to garage the light goes out as i have to book the car in its a pain in **** should buy gear to do it myself wit me laptop any ideas if its worth it and were to buy from
