Diesel engine swap

Hi there, I am sure this has been covered before but anyway, I have a 1.9d golf with a wrecked engine and have been offered a 1.9td from a passat, just wondering what complications are likely, I am thinking probably the exhaust down pipe for a start, anyone know the score on this. Thanks

Downpipe, exhaust manifold, ecu, injectors, wiring loom, turbocharger, intercooler,boost hoses, radiator (if its different !), vacuum pipes for N75 and wastegate, gearbox, possible driveshafts and a few bits and bobs. Ussualy you replace like for like !

Thanks for the reply, not sure about all the changes you talk about though, the engine in the golf at the moment is a 1.9 non turbo diesel, the one I am looking at getting is is a turbo diesl- no intercooler so that is surely more straight forward.
