Hi everyone,

I tried pulling the instrument panel the other day, without much luck. I couldn't find specs anywhere online either. It seems that it'll be a tight fit, but I think it'll come out without taking the whole dash apart...am I right?

How do I disconnect the thing while it's attached? I tried getting under it, but the heater hoses are in the way, I couldn't get my arms through the opening for the radio either.

Thanks,
Jesse

Keep a look out for wheeler dealers on discovery turbo cos the mechanic on there does it an it will be easier seeing it than me explaining it!

in this order:
remove radio and heater knobs.
remove fascia behind knobs with terminal screwdriver.
remove fascia from around headlight switch.
remove steering wheel.
undo screws that hold main dash fascia on and remove (all switch wires will need disconnecting)
remove screws from inst cluster.
get hand round back and undo speedo cable (squeeze toggles).
should come out!

depending what you are doing you dont need to take the wheel off, I never have even with the original bus wheel fitted.
