Hi Guys.
I normaly post in the Passat forum but i hope some one can help me in here.
My Friend has a 2001 51 1.6 Golf and has had issues with the rear wash wipe falling off and soaking the rear lock unit and wires, and yesterday the boot said it was open even tho it was closed. He has removed it and dryed it all up, and sprayed with Wd40 to try and push all the water out.
The issue he has now is the alarm keeps going off and it went off for most of last night!!!! he has tryed every thing to resolve the issue and was told by the Main dealer to remove the electric window fuse, but we tryed to remove the fuse's but cant seem to find one that makes the windows stop working.
Can any one help with what fuse it is or any sugestins on hwo to disarm the alarm. Hes tryed doing soem thing witht he key in the lock but this doesnt de activate it
