Brakes on B7 RS4 failed..

my 07 RS4 has 13k on it and my front brakes completely gave out while driving down a steep hill and the rear brakes did nothing to help causing me to not be able to navigate the sharp corner at the base of the hill. i struck two guardrails and went over a small cliff on the opposite side of the road. no airbags deployed even tho i crashed doing say 40mph or 50 or so kmh and the front and side of my car have bad damage, and when i went over the cliff the car was laying on its driver's side..... no brake light ever came on to warn me that the brakes warranted service.... has anyone else had this problem with an RS4?????

Ive not heard of that happening, but I hope you get to know the source of the problem.

Crickey! How fast were you slowing down from, mind you, that should not be an issue, it is what the car is designed for.

Did the brake pedal just sink to the floor or was it a servo issue where the pedal just went hard and needed great power to apply the brakes??

Also the DIS would of tripped a fault if something was up i would of thought...
