I noticed oil coming up though the engine covers on our 8. On investigation I found this. The pipe feels like its going gooey as it breaking down. Theres another split on the underside where the pipe has been resting on summit'else.

The part number is 077 103 221E. There seems to be a lot of grit inside the spigot that the pipe fits on to. The engine vacum has been sucking all the dirt in for a while, me thinks!
