Looking to remap my 2002 tdi 130, but want to make sure that the power is not going to harm the clutch. What figures are the clutch to handle. And who does it in west of scotland?
cheers

Any increase in power will have a detrimental effect on your your clutch, but as long as your not constantly ragging it about, i cant see it having much of an effect.
I know some of the lads on here have had there 130's remapped to 180bhp, and no problems as of yet...
Depends on your driving style.

I've had my PD 100 remapped by chip and spin, (supporting company on here) and it went from 100 bhp to 133bhp.. and i gained another 80nm of torque. Had it done about 15 thousand miles ago an no problems so far.
You can really fell the difference.

Would love to get to chip n spin as the have a rolling road and can pretty much do any map, but its a long way there. A good 6 hour drive for me.
