Can anyone tell me how to remove the cage that holds the filter in place? I have taken the two nuts off which retain the cage but it feels like there is something holding it back i feel it is the two clips that the nuts go up to. Is there a release clip i need to open?
Many thanks for any help.:1zhelp:
in the picture the nuts im talking about are still in place

I have taken the nuts off . I have not taken the hoses off because i can not get the cage off. There is a resistance that will not release the cage. I dont want to force it and break something.
