re-spray!?

well i've been thinking about buying this mk5 but the bonnet has some bad stone chips..
the salesman reckons if he had it re-sprayed one wouldn't even notice it! is this true? or just a blag for me to buy it....

it's tornado red...

blag,i would ask a paint specialist as stone chips can be bugger and most sales people will use the mobile type repair whos repairs are a short term cover up.

well he says it's going to the body shop whole bonnet will be done and blended into the wings!? will take a few days....

Ok Nick,make sure the body shop is vag approved or check out who they are and all should be well.
