Just a quick hello...Not got a VW yet, nor have I ever had one. I currently drive a 2.2L (55) Vectra SRi...someone has to.. However, I'm likely to change the Vectra (not a bad workhorse) for a Passat. I've got the Jetta Sport DSG on test at the moment BUT it's a bit jumpy on the road & is murder in cross winds...which seems strange as my current slab sided estate isn't too bad.Got a Passat coming on Monday (10/12/07) & reckon that I'll order the 170 SEL by the end of the week.
SO..what am I doing on this forum??
Well....I'm ooking for an independant viewpoint on the Passat- especially on the infamous electronic brake. I'm led to believe that 2008 models will have 'auto hold' as standard...is this correct? If so, what does it do & why?
Why do the Passats not offer remote audio buttons on the steering wheel as standard??
Any advice, tips/tricks would be appreciated.
