turbo timers

hi. new here so be gentle . please.:approve: i have a vw passat estate with 1.9 dissel turbo engine. on an 04 plate. its done approx 72000 miles and i have heard about these turbo timmer things and as i do alot of hard mles up and down the motor way every day, i was considering fitting one of these things. as anybody used one and can anyone tell me their views on this item as the car is now out of it's vw waranty due to the milage and i gather turbo can be exspensive, so for a few quid would it be worth buying one of these turbo timers and are they easy to fit? and can anyone reccomend one for my car.
