My Golf occasionally stalls when the clutch is disengaged and the revs drop. Sometimes they come back to a normal level but occasionally it stalls which can be fun on a roundabout etc especially when the power steering goes! Sometimes the revs don't dip at all. I am ok at twirling the spanners but don't fancy changing loads of parts before finding the fault! Any ideas chaps?? :1zhelp:
cheers

Hello and welcome to the forum. This is a common problem and you need to have the throttle body removed and internally cleaned then reset in basic adjustment mode 001 using diagnostic equipment such as VAG-COM.

Lots of answers to that but don't want to get kicked off forum when just started! Glad your car knowledge better than your Biology!
